In February 2011, JADED HEART announced they were back in studio, working on a new release. November 2011, we got the opportunity to hear a demo, thanks to Andrew McNeice and his website MelodicRock.com. It was Burst Into Tears, for free download. It was a promising song! April 2011, a short video trailer was online, followed in May by the official video clip With You. There was no doubt: JADED HEART was back with something huge! Finally, in the end of May, precisely the 25th, their newest effort Common Destiny was available!

All those songs which compose Common Destiny are fantastic. Put an ear on Saints Denied (is it a nod to DENIED, another band in which singer Johan Falhberg is currently involved?), Into Tears (previously named Burst Into Tears), Run And Hide and Are We Mental to be convinced on the quality of this disc! Further more, note the involvement of Markus Grosskopf (HELLOWEEN) on the song Higher. And what about Life Is Beautiful, a song which wasn’t sure to be present on this disc! In fact, a friend of Johan Fahlberg told me there were some disagreements - not violent, of course! - between guitar player Peter Ostros and the singer about Life Is Beautiful.

In my case, Common Destiny was a surprising opus but, if I have to tell you “what could be wrong on this album?”, I will reply you “the production of Erik Martensson”.
